When collective action and community are so greatly needed, all of us at SAY San Diego are truly grateful for the many offers of help and inspiration.
Despite SAY’s considerable resilience, these are tough times for our service populations and communities. The financial repercussions of the COVID-19 crisis are most acutely felt by the children, adults, families, and communities we serve.
SAY is answering unprecedented need for support with basics such as food, housing/rental assistance, household items, computers and other equipment for distance learning. Increasing numbers of program participants are seeking our help with access to employment, behavioral health needs and family/domestic violence issues.
If you have capacity to provide financial help at this time, we will put your gift of any amount immediately into action to support local children and families.
Months and years from now we will reflect on the time of the COVID-19 crisis and how it brought out the best in us and that we were here for our clients and participants, as well as the larger community. Many heartfelt thanks for the generosity and partnership that makes it possible to move forward together.
